Not long ago, the woods were decorated with still-remaining, washed out leaves of the beech trees. Throughout the winter, even with a lack of color, their pale patterns added interest to the scene.
Now, in the early-spring chapter, the props have changed, and the stage has been dotted with the fresh, lively and luscious colors, of yellow and green.
And only a few marcescent leaves still hang on.
