As the change of season nears, I share with you a graphic created by guest blogger Zero Cater, which I found on the Rodale Institute’s website. Gardeners near me must be careful not to disturb (and thus compact) their soil until it dries out a bit, but the work won’t wait for warm weather. As Stan Roger’s wrote in The Fields Behind the Plow, farmers are at work to “put another season’s promise in the ground.”

Hi Ruth…..I wish I was a farmer and would plant and till the soil…but, my cousins are, definitely. So I hope on the wagon and visit them for fresh, sweet, summer foods. Therefore, I forwarded to them!
Hope you can make Soup Day. Hugs
