For the past three days, my husband and I have been walking. We explored multiple trails over a landscape in which nature’s presence was far less subtle than what I see on a daily basis. Like many places where water meets land, Elk Neck State Park holds dramatic variety. Even the smaller, easy hikes were stunning. But the views from the most difficult — the Whites Banks Trail — provided the best rewards.
I highly recommend visiting any popular scenic area this month. Void of crowds, humidity, and mosquitoes, now is the time to enjoy the outdoors in the Northeastern United States.

Nicely done
Thank you, Jeremy.
