Water is both magical and elusive. One moment it is suspended in the air; the next it descends before our eyes. It will wash, carry, and feed. It can crack and smooth, hide and reveal, distort and illuminate, drown and provide. Water pelts, pounds, perfumes, and permiates. Then it disappears. Water truly IS life.
