Triggered

On Monday I saw a butterfly, on Tuesday a bee, and today a leaf-footed bug. Eating my lunch at the park today, I couldn’t help but notice the flurry of activity. The people were obviously propelled into sudden activity in same way as all the other temperature-sensitive creatures I’d been seeing during these unseasonable warm, late-winter days.

A member of the leaf-footed bug family (Coreidae); a pest to the fruit farmer.
